Ben joined us in 2021 with over four years’ of research experience, primarily from working in the Particle Physics Theory group at the University of Edinburgh, where he applied modern techniques from quantum field theory to problems in general relativity.
During his MPhys at the University of Leeds, he conducted research in the fields of quantum optics, relativistic quantum information and topological solitons. He has studied a diverse range of topics in pure and applied mathematics, including differential geometry, fluid dynamics and topology, and has programming experience.
Ben’s strong mathematical and academic background enable him to work in advanced technical fields, including AI and quantum computing.
