Senior Patent Formalities Specialist (AI Team) - Leeds

This is a hands-on role in our AI team, where you will work closely with the team, attorneys and clients
It's a great opportunity to bring your patent experience, contribute to improving processes, and play a part in shaping how we deliver our support. This is a hybrid working role working out of our Leeds office.
Responsibilities:
- All administrative tasks for drafting, filing, prosecution and grant or patent applications at the EPO, UK, WIPO and overseas, including preparing and filing necessary forms, updating and monitoring docketing system and checking necessary documents
- Communicate directly with clients/agents/patent offices
- Communicate with inventors regarding documents
- Assist with senior level admin (due diligence projects, client process management, workflow and process improvement and training)

- Diligent and thorough
- Team player
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good working knowledge of patent procedure
- Attention to detail, including spotting incorrect / incomplete information
- Willingness to learn new skills
Qualifications:
CIPA Qualification preferred but not required if relevant experience gained.
Salary:
Competitive and dependent on experience.
