About Daniel

Daniel joined us in 2025, having qualified as a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney in 2024. Daniel’s interest in intellectual property began during his undergraduate Chemistry degree at the University of Bath and developed further during his postgraduate studies. He holds an MSc in Management of Intellectual Property and the Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London. Daniel received the 2024 CITMA Award for the highest mark on the Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice at Nottingham Law School (the Trade Mark Attorney finals).

 

Daniel has experience working with a wide range of clients, from individual founders to multinational corporations. His experience spans a variety of commercial sectors including software and AI, financial services, food and drink, life sciences, live entertainment, and engineering.

 

Daniel provides clear, commercially focused advice on trade mark clearance, filing, and enforcement. He is experienced in navigating opposition and cancellation proceedings, infringement matters, settlement negotiations, and domain name disputes. He has a particular interest in contentious matters and enjoys helping clients overcome difficult obstacles to registration.

 

Daniel has coordinated trade mark filings and enforcement strategies across the globe, including in major markets such as the EU, United States, Canada, Australia, and China. He is experienced in managing multi-jurisdictional portfolios and liaising with local counsel worldwide to secure positive outcomes for clients.

 

Alongside his day-to-day work, Daniel is a member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys’ AI and Technology Committee. He has also provided pro bono IP advice through the British Library’s Business & IP Centre (BIPC) and Queen Mary University of London’s ‘qLegal’ initiative.

 

Daniel was ranked as a “Key Lawyer” in the 2026 edition of the Legal 500.
