Experience in electronics, physics, telecoms, software, computer science, or mechanical will be advantageous.

Trainee patent attorney vacancy for graduate in artificial intelligence (AI)

Page White and Farrer is one of the leading firms of European patent attorneys, with particular expertise in the technology, electronics and software sectors. With offices in London and Munich, we work with some of the world’s biggest brand names to protect their intellectual property.

We currently have a vacancy for a trainee patent attorney with experience of artificial intelligence, to support our growing client base in this sector. You will have, or be expecting, a good honours degree or PhD in a computer science or engineering discipline which has included modules focussed on aspects of AI / machine learning. Some areas of particular interest are:

  • data mining; 
  • expert systems; 
  • knowledge management; 
  • machine-learning algorithms / models ;
  • speech, language and character recognition;
  • chatbots; and
  • virtual reality.
