Kelda is qualified as a European Patent Attorney, Chartered Patent Attorney and European Trade Mark Attorney with a degree in physics from the University of Bristol.
The majority of her work is for IP protection in the EU for companies in the UK, the EU, the US and beyond. Having worked in IP since 1988, she manages the entire IP portfolio, covering competitor surveillance, written and oral representation before the EPO in opposition and appeal proceedings, as well as opinion work.
Kelda also has experience in obtaining protection for design rights and business methods and helping companies to capture their innovations and develop business value via their IP portfolio.
Kelda’s clients operate in a range of technical industries including physics, electronics and optics, hardware and software - from AI and machine learning to mobile apps and gaming.
